Se è vero che sta finendo…
No, non è vero che sta finendo. Ma va beh, questa è una di quelle convenzioni che si accettano senza problemi e che hanno anzi una comodità ed un fascino non disprezzabili. Faccio finta che questi anni a doppio zero vadano davvero in archivio e scribacchio un abbozzo di classifica di dischi del decennio. Sui film non ho nemmeno provato, anche perché faccio molta più fatica a ricordarmi questo piuttosto che quello. Sui dischi è più facile anche se sicuramente nella lista che segue ne avrò dimenticati una miriade, oltre a quelli che a malincuore ho dovuto tener fuori. Poche regole per una rassegna che non vuol essere scientifica neanche in riferimento a me stesso. Troppo difficile orientarsi in tal senso, la precisione va a farsi benedire al terzo nome appuntato e nel giro di una settimana si stravolgerebbe tutto completamente. Teniamola come ipotesi di classifica valida qui e ora. Quindi definiamo i criteri di massima: 1) E’ una lista buttata giù di cuore più che di testa, non vuole rappresentare album eletti sulla base dell’importanza storica, dell’influenza, delle vendite, eccetera eccetera. Sono i cento titoli che, salvo inutili ripensamenti, sono piaciuti maggiormente al sottoscritto tra quelli usciti in questi dieci anni e – cosa fondamentale – ascoltati. 2) Non inserisco dischi usciti nel 2009 come cautela avendo avuto un limitato tempo di stagionatura a disposizione, anche se sono convinto che alcuni meriterebbero di finirci. Lo dico oggi, domani potrei già averci ripensato. 3) Nessun titolo italiano. Avrei potuto inserire qualcosa (Afterhours, Baustelle, Yuppie Flu) ma ho preferito rimanere oltre confine per un criterio di coerenza, anche perché di musica italiana ne ascolto poca o niente. 4) Un solo nome per artista. Criterio brutale ma necessario a garantire un quadro il più completo possibile. Di band come Wilco, Radiohead e Alfie avrei inserito 3 titoli a testa, per dire. Ma volendomi limitare a 100 nomi ho così modo di piazzare 100 proposte differenti, e già che certi tagli sono dolorosi. Il migliore per artista e amen. 5) Logica classificatoria estremamente limitata. Unica divisione, un ideale steccato tra i primi venti album e gli altri ottanta. Abbinarli ciascuno ad un numero crescente o decrescente è inutile, faticoso e nemmeno mi piace. Cambio opinione ogni cinque minuti, sarebbe una scelta assai poco credibile in un certo senso. E quindi li butto tutti nel calderone. Se sono dischi che avete amato e amate anche voi, piazzateli in classifica dove meglio ritenete.
